Can't think of a clever title tonight...

Hello! Well another week down and feeling pretty good!

In our meeting we are asked about victories or hardships for the week. Well this week I had a victory, to me anyway and was happy to share with the group. Yesterday I went to lunch with my sister and dad and we went to The Habit, well I ordered the grilled chicken salad *4 smart points before dressing* (if you haven't tried it you should! It was really good and BIG) and I told Julie that she needed to share 5 fries with me, that was all, just 5. I got my salad and didn't finish it all before I was full and THEN I realized I didn't even have those 5 fries, nor did I want them. Go me!

So today in the meeting I got the 4 weeks key chain - I love the small tokens to have for victories. And I got the - 5 pound sticker, I guess at this moment I can give my numbers...

- 1.8 pounds
Total - 11.2 in 3 weeks

I'm on my way!

Today I went to the quilt and sewing expo and wore my sewing shirt...

(this is the end of the day and blurry ha)

I DID NOT buy any fabric though ha. I did however buy some cool sewing things.

Well I don't have any new recipes this week, hopefully next week.

That's all for this week! Have a great one and see you on the next update!

Oh also I was pleased to learn since the Arabian Horse Show starts later this year I will be able to still attend the weigh ins for those 2 Thursdays (just not the meetings). That's good to keep me in check while I'm there, it'll be hard but I plan on taking snacks and meals!

Until next time...

3rd Time is a Charm?

Here's hoping!

So I've been down this road before and triumphed and then failed. I'm hoping the 3rd time will be the charm. I feel different about the weight loss this time. I'd like to hit my goal by a year and half that's approximately 1 pound a week. My end goal is 88 pounds,  I feel like I have it this time!

I purchased a couple of books...

The first one has some great information besides just recipes, especially if you have Diabetes. I'm so happy I bought this book, it answered some questions I've had and couldn't find answers too.

The skinnytaste book I am excited about. I followed www.skinnytaste.com before when I was losing weight. She has so many great recipes! If you don't want to purchase the book go check out her website!

I haven't tried any recipes from either yet since I just got them, but will share them when I do (err if they turn out.)

For those that don't want to have to read a blog to keep up with my progress I will post my numbers on Facebook, but for those that want to read my journey or see what good recipes and tips I share - come on back weekly!

So I won't make you wait any longer....

Drum roll please.......

- 3.4 pounds
Total loss - 9.4

I'll take it!

I guess I should add before pictures. I finally remembered to get them taken so these are from last night.

That shadow on the side picture is brutal lol. It is what it is, hopefully it'll be smaller eventually!

Well that's all for this week! If you have any tips or recipes please share and just keep on supporting, that's what I need! I got this!
